Heres my finished Candle Using Euro Hazel the Digi Stamp From Rick StDennis.
She is named after ME!!! How Cool is that. Thanks Rick xx
So here we go with the Tutorial.
Collect all the Bits and Pieces you need for the job.
2. Heat Gun
3 Tissue Paper
5 Colouring Medium
6 Greaseproof Paper
For My Image I used a Digital Image so had to pop the tissue Paper on a piece of A4 Card and stuck it down as it was too thin to pop in the printer itself.
Here she is all printed out.
You can use any stamp with your usual ink pad to stamp it.
Colour her in with your Chosen Medium. I have used Spectrum Noir Pens.
You can use whatever you like. I find that Markers are best since the tissue is very easliy ripped!! (Learn from my errors!!)
Once you have coloured her in, have cut her out with a small border round her. I have left the Antennae on her Crown Clear as I will decorate them with glitter later.
Wrap the Greaseproof paper round the candle with your image in its chosen position.
Now heat the candle up with the heat gun. You will see the candle wax melt slightly under the Greaseproof paper It goes slightly shiney. If you keep moving it over the image and dont concentrate the heat on one area the image will magically adhear to the candle. (if you keep the heat on one area you end up with a lumpy candle.... again learn from my errors!!!Ooppp!!!)
Finally decorate the candle, I have used Stickles Glitter Glue on her Wings and Antenna.
Here she is again with her ribbon round the bottom and a wee Made with Love Charm attached.
